Mr. Saratovsky has more than 30 years experience in the structural engineering of a variety of building types. He is responsible for the structural design of numerous structural projects handled by the firm, including educational facilities, hospitals, office buildings, and religious facilities. He supervises designers working on projects for the firm, and advised them on practices and methods consistent with the high professional requirements that governed the work of the office.

Mr. Saratovsky is responsible for the client relations for the work in which he was involved. His projects include the construction phase follow- through of the following projects: a sports stadium with overhanging stands for the Olympic Stadium in the former USSR, art gallery in Soho, office building in Long Island, renovation of Thomas Jefferson Park Pools, a new pedestrian access bridge between two existing buildings for Lord & Taylor, and the design and design management of a 20 story reinforced concrete dormitory for New York University, winner of the New York City Concrete Industry Board 1998 Annual Award.

Mr. Saratovsky served as President and Structural Engineer with the predecessor firm, Goldreich Engineering, P.C., and is a member of many structural engineering societies. He has received numerous awards for his projects, and served as an expert witness. Mr. Saratovsky received his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Polytechnical Institute in Minsk.

Dr. Jia has over ten years experience in research, analysis, design, investigation and construction of all types of complex structures, forensic analysis, new or remedial design, vulnerability assessment and blast design, complex retrofits, seismic and vibration analysis, curtain wall design, calculations and fiberglass reinforced plastic composite applications. As a principal in Engineering Group Associates, P.C., Dr. Jia is responsible for new construction of office, hotel, residential and commercial buildings. He has extensive expertise on engineering design of steel and concrete medium and high rise buildings, investigations and renovations. He is registered in NY, NJ, MI, FL, DC and PA.

In addition to his responsibilities as a principal in Engineering Group Associates, P.C., Dr. Jia is managing the international operation with the vision to extend our services worldwide. He teaches at Pratt Institute, Columbia University, West Virginia University, and internationally at Dalian Maritime University and Shenyang Jianzhu University. He has published many technical papers and articles and is a member of multiple journal review boards, including ASCE Journal of Composites for Construction, International Journal of Fatigue, Journal of Engineering Fracture Mechanics, Journal of Composite Materials, International Journal of Computational Engineering Science, and Journal of Composites Science and Technology.

Dr. Jia holds a doctorate of Structural Engineering from West Virginia University and post doctoral fellowship from Pennsylvania State University. Before Goldreich Engineering, P.C., Dr, Jia worked for Thorton Tomsetti and currently serves as Principal at Engineering Group Associates, P.C.
